About Us

Revival Acoustics has been making guitars since 2006. It was born from a partnership between Sue Silverstein and Mike Mulqueen. Sue brought years of experience in the music industry, particularly focused on traditional Chinese instruments like the guzheng and pipa. Mike was also an industry veteran, having worked in sales for several Musical Instrument Distributors. A guitar player, Mike was eager to find the best partner for manufacturing Revival's guitars. Together, he and luthier Eric Hamilton worked with our partner in China to create high quality, affordable guitars for beginners and enthusiasts alike.

Since 2018, Revival Acoustics been a part of Lark in the Morning. Our expanded team are all musicians that really know guitars, and every Revival guitar is set up in our warehouse in Berkeley, California.
